General conditions
The Pasolini language school is responsible for
the accurate processing of our courses and the reservation of
your accommodation. This does not includes any offers from any
third-party. A part of the programs and courses are only available
in special seasons. Please contact our international office
to check the availability.
Enrolment
If you want to participate in one of our courses,
please use the application form. If you would like to get further
information or have any questions concerning your enrollment,
please do not hesitate to contact our office in Frankfurt.
Along with your booking confirmation, you might
get requested to pay in advance.
Payment can be done through bank transfer, credit card (only
via PayPal) or directly at our language school in Castiglioncello.
The remaining costs are due on arrival in Italy in cash.
Days without teaching
There is no teaching taking place on the following
days: 01.01., 06.01., 25.04., 01.05., 15.08., 01.11.,08.12.,
24.12., 25.12. The lessons will be partly given on other days.

Lesson
One lesson of teaching lasts 45 minutes
Booking of rooms
Doubles: Two students share one room (those who
travel alone can only book Singles)
Singles: The room is occupied by one students only.
Half-board
The restaurant at Hotel by the sea is closed on
Wednesdays from October, 1st through April, 30th. For this reason
there is no half-board on Wednesdays during this period of time.
For all other Hotels: please contact our international office
to check the availability first.
Villa Tuscany (Apartments)
The prices are for one person. An additional
fee of Euro 30 weekly covers electricity, heating, gas, hot
water, and one-time final cleaning. Heating is included in the
winter months from November, 15th through March 31st only. Outside
this period heating can be ordered for additional costs per
apartment and per week. Please bring your own bed linen and
towels or rent them from our cleaning partner for a small additional
fee (ca. 10 Euro). Pets are normally not allowed, please contact
our international office if you want to bring a pet with you.
Please bring also a deposit of Euro 100 at the first day.
Accommodation
The apartment or room may only be used by the
people who booked it, additional guests have to sign up.
It is not allowed to use the accommodation for unusual purposes,
the cost of any damage the student or its visitors may have
caused will be deducted. Every participant is committed to leave
the rooms in good and clean condition.
Reductions
If you are a registered student, or you are under
18 years old, or you belong to the staff of an airline, or you
book as a group together with other persons reductions are granted,
please contact us.
Arrival
Day of Arrival is the Sunday before the first
lesson. Arriving before the booked date is normally not possible,
please contact our international office for details. Arriving
earlier and bookings of additional nights is possible, please
contact us.
Time of arrival
On Sundays at the booked accommodation: Villa: 12.00 to 18.00
o'clock.
Students who travel by train can be picked up
after phoning in:
Villa Toscana: Tel: 339 287 10 87 (valid within Italy)
Should you not be able to make it in time, please
give us notice before 6 pm.
Placement and starting day
The assessment test will take place on the first
day of teaching. (Monday 9 am at the Castello). The lessons
will start immediately after the test.
Attendance
You are expected to attend classes regularly,
especially if you need to receive a certificate or you receive
university credits for visiting our courses.
Departure
Departure is on Saturdays before 10 am. If you
leave earlier, you forfeit tuition. Please contact us if you
want to stay longer.
Cancellation and changes
- Cancellation until 30 days before the beginning
of the course: 25% of the price have to be paid.
- Cancellation until 22 days before: 30%
- Cancellation until 14 days before: 40%
- Cancellation until 7 days before: 50%
- Cancellation within the last seven days: 70%
- If you don't show up without giving notice in advance 90%
will be charged.
These fees will not be requested from the participant if the
participant names a substitute.
Responsibility
We can only be legally responsible for a compensation
that does not exceed three times the costs of the course, as
long as the damage is not caused by negligence or intentional
behavior on our behalf. The language school cannot be held responsible
for any actions and programs organized by third parties.
We recommend a travel insurance.
Courses
* language courses::
If the number of partecipiants in one course is lower than 5
students, the lessons of the standard course get reduced:
- 4 students: reduction from 30 to 25 lessons
- 3 students: reduction from 30 to 22 lessons
- 2 students: reduction from 30 to 20 lessons 1on2 private course
- 1 student: reduction from 30 to 10 lessons individual course
Legal case
Any legal case arising from this may be heard
in Livorno/Italy.
